General information for new users

Ebook site Adamo Books offers electronic books and other content for download. Payments can be made by bank card and credit card. After you have entered the system and the registration process is completed, ebooks and other content can be purchased and downloaded.

For your information, prices are indicated in HUF, Euro and USD but they are to be understood being in HUF. Payments can be made from outside Hungary as well.

Adamo Books provides users with information in Hungarian and English.

Purchasing

During the registration process, you are sent a password that enables you to enter the system and purchase selected products. It is very important that you give valid data when registering.

You can add a selected ebook or other content to cart by clicking „shopping cart" under the front cover graphics. When you click „shopping cart", selected items will be shown on the left, so you can change or take out items in your cart. A maximum of twenty products can be bought in one purchase.

Purchasing prices are indicated under the selected items and include VAT.

When you click „counter", you are taken to the middle part of the e-book store where you can check selected items again. Then you are taken to a secure payment area provided by OTP Bank (OTPDirekt) where - after giving personal details - the purchase process is completed.

Payment by credit card

Adamo Books offers bank card payment solutions provided by OTP, so we accept Visa Classic (embossed), MasterCard (embossed), American Express (exclusive rights in Hungary), Visa Electron (not embossed) and MasterCard (not embossed but issued by OTP only) cards. If Visa Electron allows the use of a non-embossed Visa Electron card, then OTP can accept it.

Payment through bank transfer

After selecting the items, a code is generated in our system. After you have transferred the price(s) of the selected item(s), we send you the code (password). And by copying and pasting the code (password), you can download the selected item(s). Currently the minimal amount for the bank transfer is at HUF 5,00 or its equivalent in another currency.

Failed or doubtful transaction

If the buyer has paid for a selected product but he or she has not been able to download it, and has notified us of this via e-mail or phone, we will investigate the circumstances of the transaction. If the buyer has failed to download the product for technical reasons, we will deliver the selected item(s) to him/her via email. We can not accept any responsibility for unauthorised use of credit cards.

Security

For safety and copyright reasons, the customer's data are copied into the pages of the pdf files purchased and downloaded from this site.  Although our ebooks are not password protected, they must not be shared with a third person (legal person).
